Sky Hunt releases!


Hello everyone, this is Gibibit for the release devlog of Sky Hunt.

What started as a practice project some eight months ago, is now finally finished! During this period, Biom and I worked on the project on and off. The original concept was thought up by Biom while we were looking for a small project to work on after the previous one got stranded.

The idea behind Sky Hunt was simply what if the player was a creature that hunted down their target. Something like a simple bullet hell game where instead of destroying your target you have to catch it. I thought the idea could be fun to try. - Biom

Before  Sky Hunt we worked on another project for a few months called Jam Knight. The original pitch for that game was to make a jam themed incremental game where you could cook your own jams with all sorts of fruits that would provide you with different effects. While it was coming along quite nicely, we were also working ourselves into a dead end. Sometimes things just don't work out, and it is better to cut your losses.

All in all I'm quite pleased with Sky Hunt. I hope you will enjoy the game. Please check out the project page to learn more!
